One Easy Step Towards Zero-Waste Living
It’s late. You’re so happy to be home after a long day, and you can’t wait to melt into bed. However, before you can even think about going to bed you have to take off your make-up. You might be too exhausted to wipe off the grime from the day, so you reach for the quick solution, a disposable facial wipe.
For many, disposable face wipes are considered a skincare essential, and the fact that they’re cheap, convenient and quick makes washing your face easy. However, these disposable face wipes are harming our environment with every use.
Most facial wipes are made of non-biodegradable plastic fibers, which add to the millions of tons of plastic we produce each year. These disposable products are moving our society farther and farther away from living a zero-waste lifestyle.
Over the last six decades, 8.3 billion metric tons of plastic have been created. Of that, as little as 9% has been recycled; leaving about 79% accumulating in landfills and the ocean. Our bathrooms are often the most common area of the home that is filled with nonbiodegradable, single-use plastics. The good news is there are many zero-waste, plastic-free alternatives to swap out your disposable items, which is why we decided to create our reusable facial cloths!
Our facial cloths are a great reusable alternative to help reduce your waste and get you on the path towards a zero-waste lifestyle. Pair them with your favorite products to remove makeup, apply toner and so much more. They are durable and washable, so you can use them time and time again.
Once you’re done using one of your cloths, all you have to do is put it in a mesh laundry bag and toss it in the washing machine - no trash can necessary!

Living a zero-waste lifestyle is an ideal we may never fully achieve, but that shouldn’t stop us from taking small steps to ditch old habits and replace them with new ones that will have a positive impact on our environment.
