Subscription Box FAQ

How do I manage my subscription?

You will gain access to a Appstle Subscription customer portal via an email sent after you sign up for the subscription or you can find your dashboard by logging into your account on our website (www.slownorth.com/apps/subscriptions). From this dashboard, you're able to see upcoming scheduled shipments and self-manage every aspect of your subscription.

What are the cut-off dates for ordering?

When you place your order for the subscription, your card is charged right away. Monthly boxes will ship out by the 5th of each month. To be included in the next month's shipments, please place your order by the 27th. Recurring months' orders will be charged on the 25th of every month automatically. 

Am I able to skip a month?

Yes, you're able to skip a month at any point up until the 24th of each month. Log-in to your portal, click on Upcoming Orders, then click into the month you'd like to skip. Scroll to the bottom of the order summary screen and click Skip this Order.


Am I able to cancel at anytime? 

Yes, you're able to cancel your subscription at any point. Log-in to your portal, click on Subscriptions, then click into the subscription you'd like to cancel. Scroll to the bottom of the subscription summary screen and click Cancel Subscription.


How do I update my shipping address? 

Log-in to your portal, click on Shipping Addresses, then click into the address you'd like to update and continue making the necessary edits.


Can I send my box to someone else one month as a gift?

Yes! You can gift your box to a friend for a month anytime you wish - a great alternative to skipping a month. Log-in to your portal, click on Shipping Addresses, then click on Add Shipping Address and continue inputting the new address info. Then click Subscriptions and select the subscription you'd like to ship to a new address. Scroll down, click on your address and a window will pop up allowing you to select the new shipping address you just added. Remember to switch it back the following month, so you'll resume your regular subscription deliveries!


How do I update my billing information?

Log-in to your portal, click on Billing Information, then click into the address you'd like to update and continue making the necessary edits.


What if I don't like the candle scent you ship me one month? 

Scent preferences definitely vary, but we'll always try to send popular ones to appeal to the majority of noses. Since our Monthly Candle Club will always be a surprise scent, we are unable to accept returns on this subscription box. Thankfully, candles make a great gift and we're certain you'll be able to find a friend who would enjoy it.
